Today’s Connecting the Dots #CTD- Race, Power, Privilege

In early 2014, the Farm Bill passed with a $8.7 billion cut to SNAP. Now, we see Congress allocating over $1 billion a month for the war on ISIL. The same people who take food off of people’s tables because “we can’t afford it” are the same people who justify spending billions to drop bombs on other countries. At CFJC we believe that national security should mean improving the health and well-being of our communities. To have a strong country means we have to have healthy communities.
