Today’s Connecting the Dots #CTD- Poverty

A recent report shows that the growing number of children living in deep poverty (income less than half of federal poverty line) is a waste of human potential. Children who grow up in deep poverty are more likely to become adults living in deep poverty, thus perpetuating generational poverty. Services such as pre-school programs, health and dental care, providing nutritious foods all help to reduce and end cycles of poverty and provide healthier environments for children to thrive.
