California tour of Food Justice, the book by Robert Gottlieb and Anupama Joshi

Over the next couple of weeks there will be several California appearances of Robert Gottlieb and Anupama Joshi, authors of Food Justice.

Berkeley’s event is Tuesday, February 8, 6:30-8:00pm in Wurster Hall 112 on the UC Berkeley campus and will feature a response by Food First Executive Director Eric Holt-Gimenez. A reception catered by the Berkeley Student Food Collective will occur from 5:30-6:20 pm in the 1st floor lobby of Wurster Hall.

About the Authors

Robert Gottlieb is Professor of Urban & Environmental Policy at Occidental College in Los Angeles. He is the author of Environmentalism Unbound: Exploring New Pathways for Change (2001), and Reinventing Los Angeles: Nature and Community in the Global City (2007), both published by the MIT Press, and other books.

Anupama Joshi is Codirector of the National Farm to School Network and is based at the Urban & Environmental Policy Institute at Occidental College.
